I’m moving to Denver! – peace. love. quinoa
Jan 07
It’s been a long time coming but now it’s official,
Feb. 1st, Superbowl weekend. Just a few short weeks from now….
2014 will be a year of change and new beginnings for this girl – it already has been.
I’m happy. I’m sad. I’m nervous. I’m anxious. I’m excited.
I think I’m ready.
WHY am I moving to Denver, you might ask. I am moving just…. because. Through all of the changes happening in my life (I haven’t mentioned much here on the blog), I am in need of a more simple, relaxed lifestyle and I am at a point in my life where I need to move on. I’ve considered living in Colorado for many years, and after spending several weeks here, I know it is where I belong. I LOVE Chicago, but I think I am ready to say good-bye.
I am moving to the Washington Park neighborhood and I couldn’t be more excited about it. It was a lot of work to find my new apartment, but I think I found a place that I really like.
(the photo above was taken in my new neighborhood – so cute! even when covered in snow)
I’ve been here in Denver for over a week now, I’m flying home today. I’ll be busy the next few weeks packing up and preparing for this move. Wish me luck.
